A Cheapest Holiday in Bandung

Another day in Bandung...this time, we were thinking having a holiday can happen with a low budget in another words you can say " a cheap holiday". Do you know why we thought so? Because we met a couple in a cafe and we had a conversation and the words which was disturb my mind when the husband told me "how come our family can not have a holiday?" So, we think every family can have a holiday and it doesn't mean that you need to spend a lots of money for it. So we make a try to have what we call "a cheap holiday" and we would like to share with you our cheapest holiday, hopefully you will enjoy all the information we give in our best holiday.

We arrived in Bandung on Friday, 10 pm... the latest time ever in our experience...! Our cousin who live in Bandung gave us the information about the cheapest hotel but clean in Bandung which is Hotel Madju in Jl. R. E. Martadinata 94 Bandung. You can see the pictures I took surrounding the Hotel Madju, we took the rate of Rp. 90.000 per room. Not bad, right? After we check in the hotel and get the room then we go for late dinner in Jl. Asia Afrika exactly in front of the Savoy Homann Hotel.

Today, Saturday, July 11th, 2009.
About lunch time we go to BOBER Cafe in the same street with the hotel. We choose this cafe for 3 reasons: First, this cafe is listed in Facebook; secondly it is near by our hotel, and thirdly the food so delicious with really affordable price...! Its about Rp. 4.500 until Rp. 30.000. And they have special promo during lunch time between 11.30 am to 2 pm, we can pay for lunch package (food and drink) for only Rp. 15.000 and still yummy...!

After lunch, we decided not to go to Factory Outlets or Malls in Bandung so we go to the Zoo in Bandung and having fun looking some animals inside the zoo. We only spend Rp. 11.000 per person for the entrance ticket. Our children also having fun when they ride the water bike around the pond with only Rp. 3.000 per person. Almost evening when about 5 pm, we go to Skate Park in 18 Skate Park in Jl. Riau Bandung. Our children Joshua and Jessyca are having fun there playing skate board and roller skate for only Rp. 10.000 for two players. They also meet some friends from Jakarta. Though we are exciting but there is a little accident when Jessyca fall down from the skateboard and get swollen in her left foot.

Dinner time, we go to Rumah Mode, our favorite place to eat siomay...so yummy and of course cheap... we just pay Rp. 15.000 per portion. And we get hotspot free so we can update our holiday as we are doing it now..!
